You deserve to feel amazing. Life is way too short to not live in your healthiest body, feeling confident and connected to those you love. And not only does it not need to be about counting and starving- it completely and totally shouldn’t be!
If there is one thing to know about me, it’s that this has been my mission for the past decade or so… supporting moms to achieve a healthy mindset, so that they can attain their ideal weight and enjoy fitness without stress, counting, obsessing, deprivation, or (worst of all) giving up wine or chocolate!
It not only is possible, it’s the ONLY way to do healthy!
In fact, I’d argue that anything else isn’t healthy!
Because healthy isn’t just about the number on the scale (which I totally don’t pay any attention to, anyway).
Healthy isn’t about the size of your jeans.
Healthy isn’t about the number of calories you ate today.
What is healthy?
Healthy is eating according to your taste buds, and according to what your body tells you it needs.
And if you don’t think you know what your body is trying to tell you, I can help you tune in!
Healthy is movement in a way that makes you feel lean, strong, and empowered.
A lot of the moms I work with are runners, as am I, but a lot of them aren’t! The goal: help you find what you love.
Healthy is feeling connected.
Relationships are a lot of work, and anyone who tells you otherwise is either blessed or lying. Connections take work, and sometimes we all need a bit of guidance to make way for the healthiest connections.
Moms also usually need a gentle nudge to remember to take the time to connect! (You know what I’m talking about, I know you do!)
About My Background
I’m a licensed mental health counselor and school counselor, with a passion for everything that involves healthy self-esteem, especially as healthy self-esteem comes from being active, eating well, getting plenty of rest, and tons and tons of snuggles. I’m a little bit addicted to seeing moms light up when they have that magical, wonderful, empowering moment when they realize they are stronger than they ever imagined!
Oh, and when I’m not working with (or running with) awesome moms, I’m mom-ming my own crew of two boys and a daughter. I also love to read, practice yoga, and especially watch my kids do the things that they love (soccer, running, art, and music), and hang out with my animal-and-golf-loving veterinarian husband. We have three rescue dogs so our house is never fur-free, but I wouldn’t have it any other way.
How I Serve Moms
For the past 13 years, I have been supporting moms to achieve a healthy mindset surrounding their fitness, nutrition, and connections.
My primary means of serving moms is one-on-one and group coaching, but I have no problem being creative! A coaching session might be over the phone, or it might be on a walk. I might work with you alone, or you and your best friend or your sister (LOVE a pre-made accountability partnership!).

And I especially love to connect moms with other like-minded moms. My Mom’s Running Club community is for any mom who wants to achieve her goals in a loving, supportive, positive, non-judgmental community. And surprise! We welcome non-runners with open arms, too!
